Know Yourself

It is hard to believe that you only now part of yourself. I have a friend that told me that everything you need to know you have to find in yourself before you can find it anywhere else. Lately I have been realizing how true that is. For me it came with seeing a couple of friends really drunk. They where talking about things that happen when they where kids. They didn't want to believe half of the things that others said cause they couldn't see how anyone could do it. I have to admit some of what I heard I felt was not true til I compared it to some of the things that I went through as a kid. Then I realized that it is entirely possible that certain things can happen. I looked to the positive of it all you have to know yourself so as not to just assume the wrost of others. I realized that in my life so many bad things happened when I was a kid that I try not to see and hope that no one else went through some of those things or worse. The hard reality of it is that life can be hard. The trick to it is if you can turn the bad into good.
